The International Conference on Noise and Fluctuations (ICNF) is a biennial event that brings together researchers interested in theoretical and experimental aspects of fluctuations across a wide spectrum of scientific and technological fields: materials (semiconductors, amorphous, superconductors, organic, films), electronic and optoelectronic devices, sensors, mesoscopic systems and nanostructures, analog and digital circuits, complex systems, biological and biophysical systems, social and financial systems, reliability.
Noise and fluctuations are acquiring an increasing importance in science and technology, as witnessed by the growing number of publications in this field that appear in leading journals.
This conference will be a great opportunity for noise researchers operating in very different areas of scientific and technological endeavor to come together and create the basis for renewed cross-fertilization and collaboration.
The 22nd edition of the conference (ICNF 2013) will be held in Montpellier (France), from June 24th to June 28th, 2013. It will be jointly organized by the University Montpellier 2 and the University of Caen.
